i would certainly agree that Barton is a significant show in the GD canon, but to exclaim that anyone who considers it overrated must leave the board is ridiculous, especially considering that the GD reached the peak of their creativity by '72/'73ish ... i'll sample a half dozen tracks from 5/8 about once a year but it doesn't hold a candle to the best from the late '60s, early '70s

i'll save you having to reply: well that's just like your opinion, man.

saying they need to be "booted" off this board is merely a hyperbole, but people stating this show is overrated is ludicrous in my own opinion. You just can't deny what this show holds as a landmark to Dead history, thats what I'm really getting at
